mike brailer
web developer/copywriter

With diverse skills such as design, copywriting and computer programming, Mike Brailer is a versatile Designland associate.

Currently specializing in web site design, his experience in the medium began in 1995, the earliest days of the Internet boom. Among his projects for Designland is this very web site.

A former copywriter and designer for Packard Bell NEC, Mike designed Packard Bell's very first web site and was a guiding force of the company's online presence throughout the 1990's.

Mike's copywriting experience includes print advertising, user documentation, and short articles. His current favorite feature is Weekly Newsgroup Spotlight, a series of articles for a Usenet access provider, ranging from the informative to the witty to the bizarre. True to his do-it-all form, Mike also wrote an XML-based system to syndicate the feature to other web sites.
